What is ZeroWater?
Water Treatment Facilities may tell you that tap water is safe to drink… but the reality is that your tap water is filled with chemicals, dissolved solids, and other contaminants that can be dangerous to your health. Toxic chemicals such as fluoride, chlorine, arsenic, and lead are commonly found in treated tap water. Some of these chemicals, such as chlorine, are used in the treatment process, while others, such as arsenic and lead, leach into the water through corroded pipes or the ground. Fluoride is even added into tap water to supposedly help with tooth decay (and this practice has been going on for 70 years). However, researchers have found reasonable evidence that fluoride may contribute to major human health problems, while maybe only having a moderate benefit to dental health. 1 Regardless, it is important to check what is in your tap water and use a water filter for any drinking and cooking water. The ZeroWater filter is able to filter out 99.6% of all total dissolved solids (which refers to minerals, salts, metal including lead, chemicals, fluoride, and runoff pollution). With a powerful 5 stage water filtration, you can rest assured that your water will be free of contaminants and you can go on with living your best and healthiest life.
The Five Stages
Stage 1: Removes suspended solids, such as dust and rust, that makes your water appear cloudy.
Stage 2: Removes additional suspended solids.
Stage 3: Removes organic contaminants, pesticides, herbicides, mercury, chlorine, chloramine, and stops bacteria from growing.
Stage 4: Removes inorganic compounds such as metals, nonmetals, and radiological contaminants.
Stage 5: Removes remaining suspended solids and holds resin in place.
Includes a free Water Quality Meter to test your water, so you can rest assured.
How is ZeroWater different from other water filters?
ZeroWater has a 5 stage filter technology, which is more comprehensive compared to other 2 stage filters on the market. It’s able to remove almost all detectable dissolved solids, while other filters can only filter out about half that amount.
How often should I change the filter?
You should replace your filter when the TDS (total dissolved solids) meter starts to read above 006ppm. The duration of the filter depends on where you are located since the amount of dissolved solids in water varies by location. Your filter can last a shorter or longer time depending on the initial quality of your tap water.
Do ZeroWater products contain BPA?
All ZeroWater products are BPA-free.
How fast does ZeroWater take to filter my water?
ZeroWater filters will take longer than other conventional filters, however, this is because the 5 stage filtration works much harder and better to remove more contaminants. It’s definitely worth waiting a few extra minutes for cleaner water.
What is TDS?
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) refer to minerals, salts, metals including lead, chemicals, fluoride and runoff polluting your drinking water. ZeroWater Technology is the only water filtration system to remove 99% of TDS, equivalent to TDS in purified bottled water.
