Peppermint is native to Europe, North America, and Asia. Its minty oil is commonly used in food flavorings, so it is recognized across the globe.

Directions: Diffuse Peppermint essential oil in the air to create a lively, energizing atmosphere. It can also be added to lotions or your favorite carrier oil at a 1-3% dilution. We recommend Organic Jojoba oil as a carrier oil because it is most similar to our skin’s natural oil. Peppermint essential oil is not safe for children or pets. To avoid oxidation, store in a dark, airtight container in a cool location.

  • Mind*: Diffuse Peppermint EO in the air, or safely dilute in a roller bottle and inhale or apply when needed.*
  • Relief*: Add 5-10 drops to a bowl of boiling water, drape a towel over your head, and breathe in the steam and vapors for 5 minutes.*
  • Body*: Dilute Peppermint EO in a carrier oil and apply to sore muscles, achy joints, or your neck and forehead.*
  •

Cautions*: Do not use Peppermint essential oil on children or pets. Do not diffuse this oil while children or pets are nearby. Always use diluted (1-3% dilution).  Peppermint oil should be avoided in cases of cardiac fibrillation, and by people with G6PD deficiency. Although Peppermint EO has been studied for internal use to treat IBS, the International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include cautions when ingested. *
