    Product Details

Ginseng has been used traditionally by Asian and North Americans for centuries. Ginseng is a widely researched herb and scientists reported that it maintains homeostasis of the immune system.1 Many scientific studies stated that Ginseng is immunomodulator.2 Immune modulators are a specific type of chemical compounds that alter the immune response by triggering antibody formation or suppressing the white blood cell activities. Ginseng contains various bioactive compounds like ginsenosides, polyacetylenes, polyphenols, and acidic polysaccharides.3

Ginsenoside is the major biologically active chemical component present in Panax Ginseng. The pharmacological activities of ginsenosides include antioxidant, inhibiting inflammatory factors and supporting healthy vascular function. Ginsenosides also work as a powerful adaptogen. Adaptogens are chemical agents that support human body’s adaptation to various physical and mental stress.

    Increased energy and endurance
Ginseng is very popular as herbal medicine and it is shown to promote energy in fatigued people. In a clinical trial, 90 people suffering from chronic fatigue were provided with 1 to 2 grams of Panax Ginseng for several weeks. After four weeks, those who had consumed Ginseng supplements felt less physical and mental fatigue compared to the control group. The oxidative stress parameters also reduced in the treated group compared to placebo.4

Furthermore, a systematic review of 155 studies reveals that Ginseng supplements are capable of enhancing physical activities and help in reducing fatigue.5

Supports concentration and short-term and working memory
Ginseng supplementation helps to improve memory power, concentration and mood. The Department of Neurology at the Clinical Research Institute in South Korea studied the effectiveness of Ginseng on cognitive function. After addition of ginseng the participants showed signs of improvement and the trend continued for 3 months. However, after discontinuation of ginseng supplementation the improvement declined and came to the level of control group.6 In another scientific study, it was found that consuming 400 mg of Panax Ginseng for 8 days improved mood, response to stress, and satiety.7

    Maintains immune homeostasis
Ginseng supplements help to maintain homeostasis of the immune system and enhance the resistance against new invaders. Ginseng extract regulates various immune cells, like T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, and natural killer cells.

If you feel tired or fatigued after a stressful day at work, this is the best supplement to boost up your stamina and energy levels.
